Privacy Policy

Who we are

Baller is an iPhone app published by Pangea Roads LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Baller app and this website. It describes what the app actually does, in plain language.

1. What stays on your iPhone

• The camera. During a run, Baller analyzes the camera feed on your iPhone, with on-device models, to find the ball and your body and count your touches. Camera frames are never uploaded. The recording of a run is kept in the app’s storage on your iPhone so Baller can make your clip.
• Videos you upload. When you pick a video from Photos, Baller counts it on your iPhone. The video is never uploaded.
• Your progress. Levels, stars, streaks, aura, rank, settings and your answers during setup (age range, level, strong foot) are stored only on your iPhone. We don’t run a server for the app, so none of it reaches us.
• Sound. Baller doesn’t record audio.

2. What leaves your iPhone, and only when you choose

• Clips and share images. They stay on your iPhone until you share or save them through the iOS share sheet. Where they go from there is up to you, under the terms of the app or service you pick.
• Game Center, if you connect it. Game Center is Apple’s service. When you connect it, Baller sends your scores from live runs to its leaderboards. Apple handles your scores and your Game Center profile under its own privacy policy (apple.com/privacy). Baller doesn’t store your Game Center name or send it anywhere else.
• Reminders, if you turn them on. Baller schedules them on your iPhone: a nudge at 6 pm on days you haven’t played yet. They are not sent from a server, and nothing about them reaches us.

3. What we don’t do

• No account or sign-in. Game Center is optional, and it’s Apple’s.
• No analytics, advertising or crash reporting, from us or from anyone else.
• No tracking across apps and websites, and no advertising identifier.
• We don’t sell or share personal information. We don’t receive any.

4. Children

Baller is rated 4+ on the App Store. It collects no data from anyone, children included. The optional age question during setup is stored only on the iPhone and never leaves it.

5. Your choices

• Turn camera, Photos and notification access on or off in iOS Settings > Baller.
• Manage Game Center in iOS Settings > Game Center.
• Delete the app to delete everything Baller stored on your iPhone.

Because we collect no personal data, we hold none to access, correct, export or delete. If you have a question about your rights under a law such as the GDPR or the CCPA, email us.

6. This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics or trackers, and loads nothing from other websites; even its fonts are served from here. Like any website, its hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If a future version of Baller changes what it collects, we’ll update this policy before that version is released.
