Tell us your iPhone model, your iOS version and what happened. A screen recording helps.
How do I set up a run?
Prop your phone up, using the front or the back camera, and step back until your whole body is in frame. Hold still and the countdown starts by itself. Keep the ball up: when it drops, the run ends and your clip is ready.
For a clean count: your whole body in frame, good light, one ball. A soccer ball works best.
Why does a touch have no label?
Baller labels each touch it can read: left or right foot; inside, laces or outside; knee or head. When it can’t tell, it doesn’t guess: the touch still counts, it just goes unlabeled.
Why does Baller ask for these permissions?
- Camera, to see the ball, count your touches and film the run for your clip. Frames are processed on your iPhone and never uploaded.
- Photos, to pick a juggling video for Baller to count. It reads only the video you choose.
- Add to Photos, to save your clips. This access can add to your library, not read it.
- Notifications, optional, for a reminder at 6 pm on days you haven’t played yet. Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone, not sent from a server.
You can change any of these in iOS Settings > Baller.
Can I count a video I already have?
Yes. On the Train tab, tap Upload a video and pick a juggling video up to a minute long. Baller counts it on your iPhone and plays it back with the same count and ball trail as a live run.
Uploaded runs count toward your stars, aura and streak. They stay off the leaderboards, which only take runs filmed live.
Do I need Game Center?
No, it’s optional. Connect it during setup or from the Ranks tab and your scores from live runs go to the Game Center leaderboards. Everything else works without it.
How do I start over?
Your progress lives only on your iPhone, so deleting the app resets it: levels, stars, streak, aura and settings. Clips you saved or shared are not affected, and scores already sent to Game Center stay with Apple.
What happens to my data?
Baller has no account, no ads and no analytics, and your camera and videos are processed on your iPhone, never uploaded. The privacy policy has the details.
